Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga. Born in Manhattan, New York. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of the mobile operator Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. was the director of a company that operates an Internet-based networking network. As a child of a Catholic family, she was brought up in the Manhattan's Upper East Side. Her parents enrolled their daughter at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. When she was little she was an avid music fan. She learned how to play the piano in the very beginning and wrote her first solo song when she was thirteen. She took part in the open mic night. Her most favored artists were David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. Following her graduation from high school, she entered into the Tisch School of Art at New York University to study music. Her studies did not go through. studies, but she left the school to start her musical career.
